MEDICAL DEFINITIONS
Universe Definition: Multi-tenant medical buildings greater than 20,000 square feet.
Medical: Defined as a property where 50% or more of the tenants are medical-oriented tenants. Medical properties generally have a higher parking ratio than most office properties with a minimum of 5 stalls per 1,000 workers. These properties are generally marketed to medical tenants and have the electrical and plumbing infrastructure capable to accommodate medical tenants.
PRODUCT TYPES
On Campus: Connected with a tunnel or skyway to a hospital or major ambulatory surgery center or located in a distinct area immediately adjacent to a hospital or major ambulatory surgery center.
Connected: An On Campus property connected with a tunnel or skyway to a hospital or major ambulatory surgery center.
Not Connected: An On Campus property not connected, but located in a distinct area immediately adjacent to, a hospital or major ambulatory surgery center.
Off Campus: Not connected or immediately adjacent to a hospital or major ambulatory surgery center.
